These providers process Customer Personal Data (data about visitors to your sites) on Brandfine's behalf, under our Data Processing Agreement. We email account owners at least 30 days before adding a new one.
Current sub-processors
DigitalOcean, LLC
- Purpose: hosting of the Brandfine application, databases (including website analytics), and uploaded assets.
- Data: all Customer Personal Data.
- Location: Frankfurt, Germany (EU). DigitalOcean is a US company.
- Safeguard: data stays in the EU; Standard Contractual Clauses cover any access from outside it.
Anthropic, PBC
- Purpose: AI models that write live chat replies from your knowledge base, when you turn AI replies on.
- Data: live chat messages and the workspace content needed to answer them. Not used to train models, under Anthropic's commercial terms.
- Location: United States.
- Safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses.
Resend, Inc.
- Purpose: sending email notifications about new form submissions, chats, and appointment requests.
- Data: recipient email addresses and the contents of those notifications, which can include what the visitor submitted.
- Location: United States.
- Safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cloudflare, Inc.
- Purpose: DNS and, where enabled, CDN caching and protection for Brandfine's public domains.
- Data: request metadata such as IP addresses, in transit.
- Location: global network; US company.
- Safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses.
Not sub-processors
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Search Console run in your own Google accounts, under your agreement with Google. Brandfine reads reports from them for you but does not send them your visitors' data.
- Polar: processes Brandfine's own subscription billing. It handles data about you as a Brandfine customer, not about your visitors; see our Privacy Policy.
- Brandfine analytics: runs on Brandfine's own servers at DigitalOcean, not on a third-party analytics service.
- AI assistants you connect (such as Claude): they work in your Brandfine account at your request, under your own agreement with their provider. Anthropic is our sub-processor for Brandfine's own AI features; a Claude you connect yourself is not.
